Came in for lunch today and was very surprised at how good this place was! Did not have time to check out the grocery side but seeing the other post makes me want to return asap!! Stripmall parking and entry. Don't be discouraged. Super clean inside and even tho I speak very little Spanish I was able to order and get exactly what I wanted. Def a men's lunch crowd, but the girl and her mom working the counter were nothing short of efficient and friendly. Portions were HUGE. And they had Jamaica and horchata which leaving CA is hard to find. And it was delicious!! Hips and salsa were freshly made just for us. Salsa was just as it should be, fresh and Apple Pay at the register along with square. Cash also accepted.
(10/28/2022) Came for lunch with coworkers during a weekday. The restaurant portion of the grocery store has a few four- and two-tops, mostly built for carry out. I got 4 tacos, I think gringos call them "street tacos," everyone else just calls them tacos. The meats very flavorful and were super juicy, especially by the time we got back to the office, I had to resort to knife and fork. Def use the limes, the acid really brightens everything up, and I always go for a touch of Valentina hot sauce. The Chicharones were soft, which I did not expect, but were squishy and porky delicious. The bakery had some beautiful displays of breads, but seemed very much commercially made. There is, however, someone's abuela who makes corn tortillas that they sell in the store. They get a batch in the morning freshly steamed and they keep them in a large cooler, hot and oh so fresh. This you MUST get if they're there, and they're like $2.00 a lb. Lots of goods for your cooking needs, and 4 kinds of El Pato!
